DESCRIPTION
How are your sewing skills? Fair? Good? OK? Are you ready for the next level or just need to sharpen up some rusty skills?
Participants will learn how to sew: an invisible zipper, a patch pocket, mitred corners, understitching, and more. Under the expert guidance of Patricia Campbell of Sydenham Sewing you will be led through a series of fun tips and exercises to practice these new skills and to apply them. You will leave a better seamstress/seamster than when you arrived and you will have the ability to tackle more advanced projects with confidence and ensure a more polished result after taking this class.
Prerequisite: Get to Know Your Sewing Machine or a good, basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine.
