DESCRIPTION
This one day introductory class is for those who are absolute beginners. You will learn the very basics of throwing on the potter's wheel. This is a fun and quick way to introduce yourself to throwing on the wheel and find out if you would like to pursue a 5 week introductory course. Three pieces will be saved to be bisque fired, glaze fired, and ready to pick up in 2 to 3 weeks.

Michelle Minke
Michelle has been making pottery for many years, beginning at Seneca College, Toronto, and including classes in Yellowknife, Alberta, and Haliburton. She has been teaching high school at Bruce Peninsula District School most of her career. She is pleased to share her love of pottery at the Georgian Bay School of the Arts.
