ACRYLIC PAINTING - SPRING LANDSCAPE
The Georgian Bay Centre for the Arts
Owen Sound, N4K2H6
How to get there
$80
DESCRIPTION
Spring has light patterns and a colour palette unlike any other season. Fresh greens and crisp defined light are hallmarks of a spring landscape. Kim Atlin will deftly guide you through this workshop just in time to start painting our local scenery.
In the morning, you will do some exercises, thinking about composition on paper and playing with line, brushstrokes, and application of paint with a little colour theory worked in for good measure.
In the afternoon you'll put your favourite composition from the morning exercises onto a canvas.
This intimate masterclass will help practicing artists hone their skills or introduce aspiring painters to the art of landscape painting.
Bring reference material for your image and your own canvas, paints and brushes. (list below)
