DESCRIPTION

This is a very timely workshop because pour-over coffee preparation is really hot right now. If we are fortunate perhaps Justin from The Goods Cafe here at GB Arts will give the class a little pour-over lesson.

This class will focus on the proper construction of a pour-over filter siphon and a couple of mugs to go with. Heather is known for her innovative building techniques and the use of home made tools and forms. What better way to create unique pieces that are personalized with your own style.

The course involves 2 days of hand building that incorporates decoration and painting with underglazes or coloured slips. Your piece will be clear glazed to show off your hard work.

This class is meant for people with some previous experience with clay.

All pieces made during class will be glazed and ready for pick up within 3 weeks. 

The class includes 1 pour over funnel and 2 coffee mugs. Extra pieces will be fired and glazed at an additional cost.
