STAINED GLASS GARDEN SPINNER - 2 DAY
The Georgian Bay Centre for the Arts
Owen Sound, N4K2H6
How to get there
$250
DESCRIPTION
Attend this 2 day class and learn how to construct a stunning glass spinner to hang in your garden. This sparkling illusion will be a visual delight when the sun hits it. This is a great way to begin doing 3D stained glass projects.
Using the copper foil method, you will create this 3D multi sided form. This course will heighten your 3D abilities in copper foil, offering you the flexibility of designing your own project.
In these two full-day, classes you will design your own mini panel (approx. 3”- 3.5” square). This mini panel will be replicated six times while learning how to use a jig to build a perfectly accurate square. Once all panel pieces have been cut, foiled, and soldered, they will be compiled into a six-sided 3D piece of art to hang in your garden or gift to someone special.
All materials are provided except glass. You are welcome to bring your own or you can purchase what you need from the large selection in the glass studio at GB Arts
