DESCRIPTION
This beginner intensive class introduces students to traditional jewellery making techniques over three full days. Fundamental skills such as sawing and piercing, forming, hammering, stamping, and soldering will be taught. Focusing on safety, a variety of specialized tools will be used, and the correct studio practices will be explained.
Students will make three learning pieces, a ring, earrings, and pendant or brooch with a cabochon set stone.
A material fee of $65 (+tax) will be due on first day of the workshop, payable at the café by cash, credit or debit. Extra silver or materials are available for purchase.
