3-Day Beginner Jewellery Making Workshop
Join us for three creative days in the studio and learn the foundations of jewellery making. Perfect for beginners, this hands-on workshop will guide you through the process of creating a sterling silver and brass kinetic ring, a pair of silver and copper earrings, and a brass pendant.
Along the way, you’ll learn essential techniques including stamping, sawing, soldering, and finishing while gaining confidence working with traditional jewellery-making tools.
No experience necessary—all tools and materials are provided.
Students from this class are welcome to join open studio in jewelry at GB Arts. This is a stepped membership and may have some restrictions.
Material fee: $65 Payable to the instructor at the beginning of the class.

YOUR TUTOR
Shannon Kennedy is a full-time metalsmith who creates inspiring jewellery and wearable art sculptures at her studio in Globe Studios in Kitchener. Shannon has over 20 years experience with the craft since graduating from OCAD. She then studied metalsmithing at the George Brown College and then opened her business Cynosure Jewelry in 2004. For over 10 years Shannon has been a faculty member of the Jewellery Arts program at Haliburton School of Art and Design (HSAD).
